Katika kile kinachotafsiriwa kama ni utapeli wa waziwazi chuo kikuu cha Dodoma (UDOM) kimeshindwa kuwalipa wanafunzi waliofanikiwa kufanya mahafali ya tano ya chuo hicho
Hawali chuo hicho kilitoa utaratibu na garama za mahafali hayo, kuwa garama ya mahafali itakuwa Tsh 55000 ikiwa 35,000 haitarudishwa(is non- refundable charge) na 20,000 itarudishwa baada ya graduation gown kurejeshwa( the deposit of 20,000 will be refunded when th gown is returned on time and in good condition).
Hata ivyo hali imeendelea kuwa kimya achilia mbali kuwa wahitimu hao walitimiza utaratibu wote kwa mda husika yaani waliregesha magown ya mahafali katika mda husika (ndani ya siku tano baada ya mahafali) na yalikuwa katika halinzuri.
Ingawaje Wahitimu hao wa 2013/2014 walitakiwa kuandika account number zao katika payslip zao wakati wa uchukuaji wa magown lakin hali imeendelea kuwa kimya bila maelezo yoyote kitukinachotafsiriwa kama utapeli wa wazi wazi.
Akihojiwa mmoja wa wahitimu hao, alisema “ kimsingi hakuna sababu ya msingi ya kushindwa kurudishiwa pesa zao maana tuliwaandikia account zetu na kuahidi kutuingizia mara tu ya kurudisha majoho yao na tulifanya ivyo”

Venue and time
All activities will be held at the Chimwaga Building
grounds, at UDOM. On each day, the ceremony will start at 1.00 p.m. and
will be for all candidates who have successfully completed their studies
and qualified for various awards of The University of Dodoma for the
academic year 2013/2014.
Participation in the Graduation Ceremony
Graduands should confirm their intention to participate from 27th October to 20th November 2014 through their respective School Deans. All Masters and PhD graduands should confirm through the Directorate of Graduate Studies.
Graduands should confirm by paying Tshs. 55,000/= of which Tshs. 35,000/= is a non-refundable charge and Tshs. 20,000/= is a refundable deposit for the Graduation Gown. The deposit will be refunded when the gown is returned on time and in good condition.
Payment must be made upfront through CRDB Bank Ltd, Account: UDOM Central Administration (CRDB) - 0150221567400. Bank deposit slips should be submitted during gown collection from the respective Colleges. Note that late confirmation will not be accepted.
The gowns shall be collected from the respective Colleges between 26th and 27thNovember, 2014 starting from 10.00 a.m. each day. All gowns should be returned before the end of the fifth day after the graduation ceremony. A penalty of Tshs. 10,000/= per day will be levied for late return of the graduation gown.

Rehearsal
All attending graduands shall participate in rehearsal that will be held at the Chimwaga Building grounds starting at 8:00 a.m. on each day of graduation according to their respective batches. Attendance to the rehearsal is mandatory for all graduands who intend to participate in the graduation ceremonies.

Graduands who will not participate in the rehearsal shall
not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony; instead, the
awards will be conferred in absentia.
All graduands are required to be seated by 12:45 p.m.
Graduands arriving later than the specified time shall not be allowed to
enter the graduation ceremony.
All graduands will meet their own travel, lodging and incidental expenses.
